Tana FM Radio


Tana FM is a community Radio that will be operated by KESHA which is the implementing partner. HCR UK’s role is to support KESHA through training and capacity-building of the radio team, to monitor the implementation of the project in accordance with donor requirements and to evaluate the impact of the station against agreed objectives.


The purpose of the project is to:

Influence change in cultural beliefs and practises, which are harmful to health and well-being (e.g. superstition and witchcraft, female genital mutilation, early marriages, marginalisation of women), Build peace, Promote education, Promote awareness of rights, Promote good health behaviours, Support the work of service providers (e.g. NGOs, CBOs and other groups serving the community), Promote good governance and democracy, Encourage true Christ-following
